Default 89 starting

go out in morning cranks but no start. home at lunch fires right up. has complete tuneup and new injectors. HELP

Use your timing light to see if you have spark and what the timing is during cranking. Use a grounded wire placed 1/2 inch from a pulled plug wire while someone cranks. You should easily get a 1/2 inch snappy spark. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the Shrader valve on the end of the right fuel rail and see what the fuel pressure is when you turn on ign for longer than 2 seconds and turn it off. Fuel should be 35-42 psi and hold up for a long time after ign is off. Connect a noid light (available at parts store), or a low power 12v lamp like a 196 side marker lamp across an injector plug while someone cranks. You should see the light pulse during cranking. Engines need spark and spark at the right time, fuel and air.
