91 L98 skipping
91 L98 6 speed, modified, mild cam, forged pistons, custom chip, and ported. The problem serpentine belt broke. Ran hot 260 for less than a minute. After replacing belt there was skip or miss in the engine and over 2000 rpms power retarded and no pick up after acceleration and it would backfire through the exhaust when down shifting. I checked the wire on the temperature sensor above the water pump and plugs. Sensor wire ok found 3 bad plugs. Install new plugs FR5LS .gap 035, ran perfect for about 20 minutes. Thought problem was solved but after starting the next day it ran perfect for about 10 minute turned it off after restarting the miss and retard as mentioned above showed up but it isn’t backfiring. Checked plugs they are OK. Any help greatly appreciated
