Default Valve cover height

I have new heads and roller rockers comming for my 89. I need new valve covers and my motor is out. Can someone tell me the distance between the valve cover and the A/C? What are some others using?
My stock ones look bad.

Thanks

Don't know the height difference between the AC and passenger valve cover, but you have to remove the AC bracket to remove that valve cover. I went with the 2nd pair from the top on this webpage for my '91 L98: LINK . The Proforms are higher than stock, but don't have clearance issues on the L98 and will allow for future 1.6 RRs.

Oops, I see you have new heads - do you know if they come with perimeter or center bolts for the covers? This will limit your options.

I have the black proform valve cover with 1.6 rocker and they fit good with no issue.

All I could find with Proform was tall. I that what you have? My understanding is tall won't clear the windshield wiper motor, or the A/C.

These ones are tall enough to fit 1.6 RRs, but not so tall to provide clearance issues.

They are only 1/4" taller than you're stock covers. What type of a/c compressor do you have, is it the same as the 91? I had no problem with clearance.I have the afr heads with 1.6 rockers .
