Default Injector Questions

I have an 85 coupe and i need to replace the injectors, i hear bosch 3's are the best, but im trying to get anyones hands on experiance with what is needed to run these, AFPR or what?

Also my motors stock and i am not going to do anything too radical with it anytime soon so what flow rate should i go with?

I agree talk to Jon he will give you understandable, usefull, no BS advice. I have personal experience with Bosch III on my 89 coupe. They are fantastic.

I used 22# after market injectors (the yellow ones) The OEM are 21# injectors. The stock fuel pressure is about 32 PSI but the after market injectors like about 42 PSI. I would replace the diaphram on the regulator and get the adjustable type regulator. There is a HUGE differance in price. OEM are about $300.00 each. The after market were $159.00 for a set of 8. The car runs great now. Fuel economy is up 50% over what I started with.
Are you sure you need injectors? There are lots of sensors under the hood that can make your car run like crap. It took me almost 6 months to get all of the bugs worked out on my car. Good luck with it.
FYI- the electronic fuel control will automaticaly adjust fuel delivery for a stock engine. As long as replacement parts are within a 10% range of factory you should be OK. Any mods to the engine (cams, heads, headers, ect.) will require that the prom be changed.
