3 or 4 years ago my baby was a daily driver. She started hard after several attempts but I had to get to work so I was persistent and 8 miles down the road she quit at a light. So I bought my Avalanche. Haha - actually true!
Anyway, I finally got around to replacing the injectors 6 months ago, buttoned her up and tried to start her. Fuel started spraying out of one of the rails. It was a long frustrating weekend so I abandoned it.
I'm back to it and wondering if I should look to someone other than CSK Auto for the new o-rings. (I bought new ones with my new gaskets back then)
Thanks in advance - I've lurked here for years when I bought the car and this is by far the best place for information - you guys rock!

Reason: Forgot to say what kind of vette I had...
Similar problem with my C4 L-98. Saturday I replaced stock injectors with Bosch III's. Three tear downs later and still two of the injectors are spraying all over the place. Fit to be tied and tired of looking at it.
Do you think it might be the O rings. Those two injectors are much looser in the rails than are the other 6.
That whole assembly seemed a little too loosey-goosey when I put mine together. I wasn't sure if my leak was due to the o-rings or my assembly. If you used the o-rings that came with it they should be OK. The ones I put on the crossover bars were from a "variety pack" made in China...
get new O-rings from GM they are pretty cheap and generally in stock. use some injector O-ring grease so they don't tear when installing.. makes them slip right into place.. make sure the retainers are clipped as well and the injector is adjusted halfway between bhoth the rail and manifold bosses.. that should take car of both your problems!.. also make sure the bores in the rail are clean as well as the manifold injector bosses.. sometimes dirt or trash can get in there and wreak havoc!
