Is it worth it?
Where to begin on engine mods. I know the typical answer is either intake mods or exhaust mods and if I was made out of money I'd have one killer combo, but for the cost of prom burning equipment I'd like to know if the potential gains on a mostly stock engine is worth the investment for the equipment or should I put the money into bolt ons first?

Chip burning is more of a hobby in itself and to be effective will require diagnostic tools and plent of reading to interpret that data. So, getting into chip burning/tuning as a performance mod would probably not be worth it. You could get someone here to burn you a chip "similiar" to many of the aftermarket chips available.
