Theres a good way under the Forum Techtips also, don't even need to remove the door panel. Can be found here...

You are absolutely correct snake. I tried this repair without removing the door panel and it was a huge mistake. With the panel off this repair is a piece of cake. Besides, it only takes about 10 minutes to remove the panel anyway!

I also replaced the inner seals while I had the door panels off--Mine were stapled in and after easing the staples out , I used pop rivets to refasten the inner seals -- will be easier the next time to drill out rivets than prying those staples out! :yesnod:
