Here is another step closer for my CE LT4. Installation was not difficult at all. The 6mm pin was a challenge, I had to use the vice to get that sucker in.
Make sure you use shims (You may have, I don't see 'em in there) behind the two nylon cradle bushings so it's nice and snug in there forward to back....

Originally there was one chim in the front and two in the back. It would not fit so I took one off the back.
can't wait to hear your opinion on this shifter. with the resent thread on shifters, it looked like most preferred the hurst, but I think I would prefer a shorter shift (with a real positive feel). Even though the stock shifter in my C4 feels like a shifter out of an 18 wheeler (the length in the throw is just too long), I don't want to loose the smoothness in which the transmission "falls" into the next gear. The C4 is probably one of the easiest cars to hammer the gears in (I would constantly miss 3rd in my mustangs, and occasionally miss in other vehicles).
