84 diff probs part 2. will 87 fit?
righto further to my last post, thanks for your help, this diff, 1984, is well beyond reprieve, barely drives and no doubt the noisest diff i have ever heard.
been offerd an 87 centre.
Will it fit ok?
What sort of time to remove and refit? i have to give this guy some guess-estimate of price.
have well equipped w/shop with air tools, just have not done a C4 diff b4.
any help appreciated :D

All 84's had the Dana 36.
Any year C4 Corvette Dana 36 should fit the 84 Corvette.
If you change gear ratio you have to recalibrate the speedo sensor in the tranny too.
I switched to a Dana 44 in mine and then I had to modify the C-beam.
