Default L83 motor

Can someone tell me if the L83 is supposed to be a 2 bolt main or 4 bolt main block?

I just pulled the pan and my engine is only a 2 bolt main. Perhaps, the engine is not original.

Does anybody know? It might explain the lack of power if It really isn't an L83.

Its a 2 bolt main. Lack of power is probably due to a restrictive intake.

Thanks. I am in the middle of changing the cam, lifters, and rockers but had to drop the pan to get the timing chain cover back on. I was a little surprised that it was 2 bolt main but it's not a high revving engine.

Thanks again!
