Default About FICINJECTORS

I bought a set of BOSCH III injectors from Jon Banner of FICINJECTORS. Installed them in My 90 L98. Fired it up (no pun intended) only to find two of the injectors spewing gas onto the manifold from their union with the fuel rail. This is my every day driver, panic began to set in, who to call-where to go, OMG will I go up in flames.
I found a business card in the shipping carton from FICINJECTORS with Jon's phone number and it said "call any time - I don't shut my phone off" so I did.
I told Jon my story and with his calm voice he told me I must have rolled the top O'Rings when I did the install. Saying "no big deal" he went on to say he would send me 8 new O'rings by express mail in the morning.
I went begging for a ride to work the next day but the following morning by 10:00am good to his word the new O'rings arrived. Lubed'em up real good, put them where they belonged, put all the stuff back so she and I could breath again (no xtra parts left over). Turned it on and checked for leaks, there were none.
Did I forget to say Jon Banner did not charge me for the parts or the shipping. Now, that is customer service.
Thanks again Jon

Put the bosch III injectors in my 90 coupe a month or so ago, had a question for Jon and called him on his cell. The question was answered and the install went on without any problems. Checked for leaks and found none, fired it up and since then the car is running like a scalded cat. Since I was working on the car a new set of plugs were installed in the car. What a pain in the butt, a few engineers at GM should have been fired over that design. Just had to complain about that. Happy motoring in your Vette. Allentown Ernie.

Yes excellent custom service
but im a stupid at install them
First day,i rolled orings
got new ones,ran excellent
15 days later,they are leaking
Jon sent me new orings,i installed them the other day
i test drive the car,excellent !
but one day later,leak again.
Any tips ? im paranoid about them now
they leak from the top
what if i install them all the way to the rail first ?
and then put the rail with the injectors on them ?
maybe create a new suplex down on the manifold
i donno...im thinking i have the extra 1/8 long manifold
but i have a 87....
i will take pics now

i took this picture from Mekanic fellow member
but he installed injectors on the rail first...i wonder if its different on the L98

Did you put a little lubricant on each O-ring before installing them? Vasoline or Dishwashing liquid soap is recommended.

On the L98, Jon's instructions say to install the fuel injectors into the Intake Manifold First. Also, don't re-use the top fuel injector retainer clips as per Jon's instructions.
