i just changed the console cover on my 86, and there was a bottle cap that got in the back of one of the cup holders that I couldn't see from the driver's seat.
under the console, the shifter cable looked like t could have rattled.
The automatic indicator screw had backed out and was loose in the press nut
That's all I got.............
