The threads on the end of the tube where the hose and valve attaches is pipe thread so all you have to get is a cast iron pipe cap in the right size. Put some anti-sieze on the threads and snug the cap down. That way if you ever have to re-install the system, you won't have to find new manifolds.

Mid-America has the eliminator kit.

If the check valves (black things on the end) are working properly, you should not have to do anything because they are set up to allow air into the exhaust, not out. But if they don't work or leak, just soak the threads with PB blaster and remove with a wrench. Add a metal threaded cap with pipe sealant from the hardware store and that's the end of that.

The rest of the tubes have to stay though (the ones on the manifolds that is), because they are welded on. Unless you cut them off and weld the openings closed again.

Unlike my brother's Cutlass Supereme with the 307 Olds engine, where the air tubes are simply threaded into the manifolds not welded, allowing for a clean removal and capping with some stainless steel hex head pipe plugs.

I dont think I would like the idea of having little tubes stick up all over both manifolds.
I am guessing that the exhuast tubes are steel but the parts surrounding the tubes with the bolt holes is cast iron? If this is the case, I will just take off the manifolds, cut the tubes and weld the holes shut. I wont have to worry about inspections here in Florida. I would like to find a newer model RH exhuast manifold with the bolt-on egr tube
so I dont have to bother with that stupid clamp! Thanks guys

Can anyone tell me what year exhuast mainfold I can use on my 86E with the bolt on egr pipe and still bolt up to my stock exhuast collector?
