I'm about to purchase a cat back system for my LT4. I've narrowed my choices to either a Borla or Corsa system. Corsa claims their Reflective Sound Cancellation design reduces cockpit noise without affecting performance.
Anyone have experience with either brand? Any advice?
Thanks in advance for any help. :)
Corsa's are alright, but Power Effects is the way to go! I don't think there is a better sounding/performing exhaust out there. They look great too with their huge exhaust tips. Call Joe Markovicz at Power Effects. He'll take care of you.

I have to agree 100% on this! However it is a pricey system but well worth the money. Good luck with your decision.
Each to their own, of course, but I've always found Borla's on a C4 to have a tendency to resonate horribly. Doesn't seem to bother some folks, though, and its much less pronounced on convertibles.
As others have stated here, Corsa probably makes the best all-around exhaust system. High quality, excellent fit, decent power and a nice sound with absolutely zero resonance. A bit too quiet for me but great for most folks. Here's an MPEG file of the Corsa's on our '96 GS convertible. Sounds a lot louder here than it does in the car, of course.
My all time favorite exhaust, of course, is PowerEffects. Absolutely nothing sounds better on a C4 (IMHO) and the tunability, while subtle, is a nice touch. Pretty expensive but if you want the best...
Here's a couple MPEGs of the PowerEffects on our GS Coupe. Not very good recordings but maybe you'll get the idea:
Like the guy said everyone has their favorite. Mine is the Corsa. Just installed it a few weeks ago and am very happy with it. Picked mine up from Chris at Speed Demon out of Houston, great price and fast shipping. No resonance, quality build and a fairly aggressive sound WOT. Don't think you can go wrong with a Power Effects, but it will be a few 100 dollars more.
Boy that video clip gives me spring fever. The winter blues have set in: too much snow and cold to drive the Vette, not enough snow and cold to ride the snowmobile. :cry
BTW - I love my Corsa! It seems pretty quiet in the clip, but I have received a lot of compliments on how nice the car sounds.
