SLP available from Mid America http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette?frame=3.732 makes the only real "cold air" intake for the 85-89 Vettes. For the money, cold air intakes made for the C4 Vettes aren't worth the money.
Most 85-96 Vette owners cut open the air filter cover like this http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette?frame=1.739 and use a K&N air filter which lets the engine breathe a lot better for less money.
