i was taking off the front right wheel lug nuts, one is FKING STRIPPED, turns left right freely. anyone else have this problem, any ideas please. heres a pic, even though its useless, im sure you know what a lug nut looks like. okay so now i have been able to take the wheel off but will i be replacing the bearing assembly or can i just replace the bolt.
can i take off the wheel with the bearing assembly and caliper and rotor or no. i have been trying to pull on the wheel and apply pressure to catch some thread but i think the thread is toast. the nut is backed out enough to leave about a half inch of play between the tire and the rotor.

What is stripped, is the nut stripped on the stud? or is the stud spinning?
thanks for all the help, i love how fast and responsive this community is when you guys read a thread title like HELP, HELP, HELP NOW. and for your viewing pleasure.
Replace the studs on both side of the bad one as well (total of 3). The other studs might have strectched threads or have been weakened by carrying extra load due to the one you found stripped.
i got it off by leveraging the grip of my hammer between the upper control arm and the tire, while pushing my feet against the bottom of the tire and backing out the lug. took a while but it came off. But the good news is that i was able to knock the stud out and after a quick parts trip to the dealer i left only spending $7.00 on a new stud that will be here today! cheapest i have ever got out of the dealership, besides hearing their price and then just driving away while laughing!
