I took off my door handles a while back to get my car painted. While they were off, I powdercoated them. Its all been reassembled. Now, when I put in the key and turn it, the lock cylinder turns freely like its not connected to anything. Would powder coating melt something in the lock mechanism? It seemed to be assembled correctly. I just took the door panel and handle out again. I don't see what's wrong.

Ok. I figured it out. There's a part that goes on the back of the lock that I never noticed when I took it off or put it back on incorrectly. I wish I was rich enuff to get smart people to do all my work.. uugh.
