I was watching one of those outrageous video shows and I saw one where a dirt track car lost a tire and went a hundred yards or so and the tire caught up to the car and rolled back on to the wheel.

fyi, those tires are made specifically for dirt track, very flexible sidewalls, and run as low as 8 psi...bead breaks are common, tossing the tire off the car and running it again after remounting not unusual...typical pit action if one guy pulls a tire off and installs another on the ground,5 minute job at max using just a "pry bar"
