Hey, you e-mailed me a while ago about trying out a new way to 'fool' the MAF tables so that the computer adds more fuel at WOT. I just bought my chip burning stuff, so I thought maybe others with a MAF car would like to experiment also.

I was thinking that it would be possible to extend the airflow range of the stock MAF on an 87-89 ECM. The trick is to scale the injector constant and the MAF calibration tables.
In theory this should work as long as you adjust ALL the tables that depend upon the MAF sensor. Its probably worth trying.
I have tuner cats def file editor that can be used to create a new def file that will make programming the ECM transparent to the user. I figured I would modify the 6E bin def file and call it 6X.
