Default Keep getting wrong timing sets for my 89 L98

I have bought two timing sets for my 89 L98... two different parts houses have given me the wrong set. The one I keep getting is a slightly larger bolt hole pattern... anyone run into this. I have verified the engine isnt a replacement engine via production date of Nov 11 1988.

thanks!

The larger bolt pattern is for a non roller cam.
You want a Cloyes 9-3145 or similar.

As a note ;
roller and non roller cam engines were made at the same time after '87. The set you have may be correct for a '88 but not for a roller cam block.
You need to check the application notes in the parts book to make sure it is listed for a factory roller cam.

It turned out to be two wrong look ups by chance at the auto parts store.... took the kit back with my old parts and the store manager looked up the correct kit and problem solved... thanks for everyone's input!
