Electric fuel level gauge
I am trying to temperary install an electric fuel level gauge into my 87 corvette coupe. This is how I did it, but the needle slams directly to the full mark. I put the black wire to ground and then one wire to the power wire on the dash cluster plug, one wire to the sender wire on the dash cluster plug. I could not find an ohm setting for this gauge, so I don't know if that is the problem or maybe I have it hooked uo wrong. Anyone got items. Thanks

0 should be empty and 90 should be full.
If the gauge slams full you have the ohms wire grounded out. Either at the sender or somewhere in between.
