Default heads and intake

I have an 86 w/ iron heads and an auto. Whats a good set of heads to match up with this motor?
On the intake, what do you guys think of the Accel Super Ram, a lot of the mags, like car craft and super chevy seem to like it?

The question that really drives the train is how much power do you want? The Super Ram is a excellent choice, it offers both great TQ and HP. As far as heads you could go anywhere from the Fe Vortec heads, to the Al Fast Burn heads, all the way to the AFR 190's on the high side. All of these are good choices, but I would stay away from the fast burn heads b/c they aren't really designed for a street driven 350, if you are considering a 383 or larger then I would diffenately choose the fast burns. Bottom line is it depends on what you want.

I'm getting AFR 190s they seem to do the best and are recommended by guys here. I decided i wanted 350-400hp so i'm gettin the AFRs, the superram, and the Accel 219 cam

be sure you do the cam with the heads

If all your looking for is 400hp, you should go with the Vortec heads. They cost a third of the price and with the scoggin dickey intake will bolt right up to the Super Ram.

I haven't really decided what the final output will be, but I want something that will run at at least deep 13's when I bring the car back to the states. Only problem is that I can't get too deep into the motor since there aren't any mechanics here that can work on the car. Heads are about as deep as I can go since I would be doing the work myself and I don't really trust myself to stab a cam in it. Also, most of the work will have to be done in the parking lot at my barracks or if I need a lift, at the auto crafts center on post. I figure since I want to replace the gaskets in the car, it would be a good time to throw some heads on it. I had been leaning towards the AFR heads, everyone everywhere seems to like them. I have a 97 T/A and everyone wants the AFR heads for their F-bodies. Thanks for the help.
BTW wheres a good place to get the accel intake from?
