Just put four new Bilsteins on my '95 and the rear sure sits up high now. I have the same amount of threads showing above the rod nut as the old ones had, but wow it seems like I am ready for some off-road, 4x4 driving now!!
Is this a sign that the rear spring is weak or something?
I have the end spring bolts at just about the end of their travel and still able to put the cotter pin in...so there is no more adjustment unless I get longer bolts.

Lanny,
Have you given the rear end time to settle by driving it around a little and then checking it?See no reason at this time to think the spring is bad.It sounds like you may be headed for longer bolts though to get it to set and look right, then realign it.

The shocks were just well worn, and the new one's hold the car up more. Mine did the same thing when I changed them. Also like the others said, it wil settle some if you have not driven it since having it on the lift.
I have driven the car just a short distance and I am hoping that it settles down some. I will give it some more time before doing anything else. Besides I will be spending most of the time with the laptop logging engine data in trying to figure out what is failing when hot.
