I put the hood up on my '93 and the lights do not come on. Is there a switch or a fuse somewhere? Also, the light on the vanity mirrors, when they are switched on are they supposed to shut off with the ignition. My wife turned the passenger side light on and forgot to switch it off, before putting the visor back up. Thanks for the info

Thanks guys, I'll look for the connector tonight. I'm sure someone probably diconnected it while working on the car. I will also double check the visor lights, I can't wait for my owners manual to get here, so I dont feel like a :conehead asking these questions.
No air pump on LT1's. Didn't need it. Anyway, check the fuses for the UHlights. The vanity lights in my 93 go off with the key so no worries there. If you remove the glass light covers to check the bulbs, make sure you don't torque them down excessively because they will break. Trust me... :smash:
Thanks, I'll check the fuse and the bulbs. I thought I read somewhere the LT1's used an electric air pump to pump air to the catalytic converter for emissions? I could be wrong, I read so many car books and mags.
Thanks for the info.

On a 93 theree is a fuse for the underhood lights. It,s located near the air pumy in the lower front section. I took the fust out of the holder on mine and got a toggle switch that pluged in in place of the fuse made a really cheap way to turn the hood lights off and on, the switch is hidden where you can't see it works great
