Default Code 46 and No Crank - '88

Was trying to install a second turn signal flasher under the IP, which screwed up the system. Now, I get a Code 46 and No Crank. It's an '88.

Reason for the 2nd flasher: to hear the turn signal over engine and road noise. Couldn't easily get to the factory flasher unit to move it to near the driver so I could hear it better, so tried with a second flasher unit. Fail.

Radio and Courtesy Lights work.

1.The FSM says to first check fuses and a circuit breaker.
The Theft fuse in the panel is OK.
How does one check the Pwr Acc circuit breaker?

2, Then it says to check the Theft fuse in "the fuse holder that's part of the IP harness." Where is that fuse holder and what does it look like? I look under the IP panel (wiring coming from steering column, etc) but don't see it there.

Thanks for your help. It's summer here and I'd like to be out there cruisin' top down.

Default theft fuse location

Kiwi, This is located behind the center trim panel above your stereo. you must pull the center trim and remove the message center.you will see a fuse center labeled "theft".The turn signal switch is also there in a metal clip to the right of the fuse center.
