I would steer clear of the Sumitomo's. I have them on my '85 and one of them is out of round brand new. I just bought the Vette so there isnt taking them back and getting a new one. First of all, I wouldnt have allowed the tire to leave the shop with it shaking the front end. No rotating the tire off the front either as they are two diffierent sizes. Stick with BFG's from a tire shop you trust and can take it back if your not happy. I assure you when these wear out a little more, the Red Sled is getting BFG's. My $0.02. Buy what you think is good and dont be shy to take em back quick if they dont make ya happy.

I had bad factory wheels on my '86. changed wheels to some cheapies, and the tires I was cursing became smooth at all speeds.
It might just be your wheels...........
