What did you pay for yours? I've seen them listed for $225 is that still the going price for them.
It was a Christmas gift; I think my son paid about $220 direct from B&M (shipping was included). He had to phone them because the C4 shifter is not available online from their site.
Do you have more pics of the roll bar? I'd like to see where it attaches and how you cut through the rear deck lid. Where did you get it? There arent too many convertible C4's with roll bars around here. It's something I need to do. Some good pics would really help.
Thanks
Hi Rick - I get lots of questions about the rollbar, so I started a new thread here:
The pin is stubborn wont budge no matter what after over 1/2 dozen hours.Guess Ill try drilling it a little, hopefully that gets it freed some. If there werent fiberglass nearby Id put some heat to it.

I used a vice to remove it. Tap did not work and likely a drill will not work either

How about modifying a C-clamp to be used as a press? I haven't done this, but it's a wild-azz thought....
1) Punch, grind, drill, or otherwise modity a c-clamp so the stationary side has an indentation (or even hole) in the middle of the receiving end.
2) Assuming, the clamp has a swivel head, break or remove the head (hacksaw if necessary). File or grind the end of the screw shaft to a semi-point.
3) Grind of any of the stationary side necessary to get it positioned on the shifter shaft.
4) Place point (ground in step2) on pin.
5) Crank c-clamp in
Hopefully, even if it only budges a bit, it will be enough to knock out with a punch. (part of this would be based on how well the back side of the modified clamp is indented).
another thought: If you are hitting it with a punch/hammer, use a block wedged in against the back-side of the shaft to make sure all of the hit-energy goes to driving the pin.

I think drilling to a depth of about 1/16 inch is a good option. In my opinion the pin gets mushroomed and the drill can remove this. Good luck...
ok, then...that part should come off easy. Did you remove the C-clip? I know I did mine while the tranny was on the floor but I did not have to use a drill. I had trouble installing B&M's pin. That sucker needed some extra force to fit.
I hope someone can relate to your problem and help you. Give them few hours to get some tylenol, pepto bismol and they'll log in.
