Default Corsa Exhaust Prices

In case any of you were planning on purchasing a Corsa exhaust system in the near future, a vendor informed me their prices went up dramatically as of the first of the year. The price at Jegs went from $736 to $1,199. There are still some sites offering C4 systems for the lower price. I just placed an order with Allexhaust.com for $824 including shipping.

Goodhttp://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:forums.corvetteforum.com/get/images/smilies/iagree.gif job. Timing is everything! I can't complain too much about paying $75 more than you did. That's still within reason. But the new prices are out of reach.

Well you all can blame China's booming economy. China is buying up building materials left and right and the price of just about every building material has gone up, especially steel. Price of progress I guess.

Except that (1) China is in a recession and (2) the price of stainless steel is about 60% of what it was a year and a half ago...

Plus, the cost of labor has to be stable or declining. Very stupid move on Corsa's part. I think they are going to learn about elasticity of demand...

Better double-check the EM price before getting too excited. Their web site rarely has current pricing.

Default Corsa status?

On my Cadillac CTS-V forum, they said Corsa was changing ownership...Is that true? Could that be a reason?

What a smart move to dramatically raise prices in a recession. That will surely get people to buy their products. Way to go!

You got a good deal. The best price I could find was $899 from Mid America. I installed my Corsas yesterday. The fit was perfect. The sound is great and those big 3.5 inch tips look mean.

Why pay all that money for a Corsa exhaust system when you can pay $519.00 delivered for a Magnaflow catback #16837 from the Performance Peddler? this system is 3in stainless steel with a X pipe included with 4in quad tip chrome mufflers and you're spending %50 less so why pay more? If you'er interested contact Dan Commer at the Performance Peddler 1 800 470 1443
