Two to three weeks! Try dealing with a gunsmith on getting a new bbl. Lead times vary from months to 3 years with the more popular smiths.

Well, once again I was lied to. I was in the door at 8am this morning (when they open) and asked to pick up my heads. They said they weren't done. I asked why it is taking over 3.5 weeks, and the guy I talked to tried to tell me they have only been there a week maximum. HAA! :bs I don't THINK so... they said they would be done friday the 11th, then wed the 16th, and then today. I asked the guy when I could expect them, he said at 4:30 today. I just called (4:40), and they said they were just now Vating them after the 3 angle valve job and other work ... arg! He said they still need to assemble them and needed to know what kind of cam I was using so they could check spring tension. I'm pretty sure my builder told them what cam when he dropped them off because they need to know that when assembling them. So, he said they won't be able to have them done today, but to check back tomorrow morning... arg!
This is really disappointing.
And on top of this.. my builder is sick, so he may not get to it tomorrow :(

Very frustrating, I know. Where the heck did good quality service go. I just had my motor done (it took 6 weeks) and every time I stopped by, this owner was on the phone with his wife........and told me he did not like cutomers coming by all the time. It would be ready when it is ready.
