Default mono-ball bj's

If they'll clear my wheels, looks like a great way to raise my upper control arms

Like the tip
Monoball ball joints allow adjustment in height to change the angle of the control arm. These items have become very popular with many teams. Teams in Stock classes have been known to weld the dust caps from stock units onto these so that they appear stock. You didn't hear that here.

NOT bolt-on...some fab reqd.

changing a-arm pivot heights will change "instant centers" of vehicle suspension, may result in extreme changes to steering with potential for loss of operator control resulting in injury or death, should only be done by professionals.

I'm building a model of the suspension, I also have someone helping me out.

I know where I can get metric and regular GM versions, but I'm also fabbing fully adjustable a-arms.

note attractive price and ready for screw-in b/j...check your local circle track vendor, similar price/slight variations abound

Thanks for the link, I was wonder why they didn't go direct.
That's how my friends GT1 car is setup.

BTW I can do it on paper, but I own my own seat of SolidWorks.
I modeled the mono-ball balljoint today.

Will do

CAD model is coming along.

For now, I'm not actually replacing the bottom one, just the top. It was easy to do a copy/paste and change the dimensions.

I got the upright modeled, if you recheck the photo above you'll see it's been added, which means I can start playing with it.

All I can say right now, it's that it's rather enlightening to say the least!

If you recheck the photo, you'll see I added the ground.

Tire circle looks below the surface since it gets squished by the weight of the car.

In order to compensate the lower control arm is no longer level. very similar to the rear.

I'm looking forward to doing the rear and seeing how they match.

right now I'm modelling wheels, stocker, plus the ones I have.

15x7x17 215

16x8.5x50 255

17x9.5x56 275/285

17x11x50 315 GS

Need to measure my offsets

Perhaps it was intended, not being the original enginneer, had to tell

the roll center looks a lot higher than I thought it would be.
