Default Tourqe Specs

Any one know the tourqe specs on the bolts on the plenum , runners and intake manifold on a 1990 L98? THANKS Don

Intake base to heads:
24 lb-ft == 1st pass, beginning with two center bolts on each side
45 lb-ft == final torque, I like to snug down around to final
Then walk away for >24hrs, return and reset final torque before installing rest of intake.

I don't have torque specs on the intake runner to base nor plenum torque specs. I well hand start each bolt, snug down each bolt and then snug till it feels solid. Even with used gaskets this method has never resulted in a leak.

Pay particular attention to the 9th injector bolt as it's easy to have it misaligned and bend the mounting flange.

Intake Manifold Runner 25 ft.lb
Intake Manifold Except tightening sequence positions 1 & 4 35 ft.lb
Tightening sequence positions 1 & 4 45 ft.lb
Plenum Bolts Torque Plenum Bolts 25 ft.lb
Position 1 &4 are the two center bolts on the passenger side of the manifold

Tighten the bolts in a circular pattern starting at the center and working your way out
