Anyone know if the runner gasket alignment problem still exists?
It was one of the two gaskets that are sitting inside the lid gasket in the picture.
Its been a while since I did mine however I do remember that the gasket would have leaked without question if you didn't modify it.
All my gaskets have an EGR slot 1-15/16ths long, whereas
[Rich at CruzinPerformance] are all 1-3/4" in length.

and also for the Accel LTR's. They each use different gasket
sets hence the difference in the now infamous "slot length
dilemma". It appears that what happened is that someone
mistakenly packaged gaskets intended for the LTR's into the
74196G SuperRam replacement gasket boxes as well as into
some of the 74196 SuperRam plenum/runner kits. Its a
mistake, plain and simple.
