Kinda two different things there and good doesn't usually equal cheap and you get what you pay for with headers. Since the 84-85's don't have the external EGR crossover the only specific fit ones I've seen being currently sold are the TPIS, and Melrose headers and LPE's if you can find an older set someone wants to get off of. Otherwise you could go for Hooker, or Hedman but as far as I know they have the EGR Tube so you'd have to block off the flange on the #8 primary tube. I have LPE's on my 85 and the fit and quality are near perfect. Maybe some of the other 85 owners here have experience with the other brands.

I have the exotic muscle headers - bought in a group purchase, which is probably your best option for inexpensive headers. You tell them what holes you need where (or don't need), and they'll take care of you. I got them ceramic coated, and they still look pretty good.

Just get some Hedman elites, about a 1/3 of the price of most others and they're ceramic coated as well. I have uncoated headers on mine and they're holding up just fine. I drive in the snow too.

Default headers for the 85

Hi. I cannot tell you which headers have the best price/performance. I have installed the TPIS headers and they were very easy to install only had to change one bolt to torx because it was not place for the tools.and had to grind or file the alternator support tube a millimeter. They were also prepared for the oxygen sensor readily threaded. I used the stock sensor first but it went into closed loop a little late after my opinion so I changed itto heated sensor and it works great.
If you buy headers I strongly recommend the ceramic coating on them as it reduces the heat very much in the engine roomand they do not rust.
Good luck
