Valve covers
A couple of questions,
1) will '93-'96 valve covers fit on a '92?
2) any advantage to the magnesium over the plastic covers?
3) what valve covers will 1.6 rockers fit under?

The 93 to 96 composite covers will fit a 92, they are supposed to diminish valve noise compared to the magnesium ones, at least that is what the General wants you to believe.
Many people have used 1.6 roller rockers under the stock covers by removing the drip tabs, use caution when doing so it is possible to crack the plastic covers if you attempt to break the tabs off using pliers.
Nearly any tall aftermarket covers can be used with 1.6 rollers but many are too high to fit under the alternator bracket.
Those in this picture have a notch that allows clearance, 1.6 Crane rollers underneath, available from Corvette Central but expensive.
