Replacing upper inner door seals...?
Almost got the door panels ready to go back on after new carpet, new dye, and new upper inner seals. Problem is, I can't get the d@mn staples through the plasting for the seals. I've tried three different staple guns, the last one an electric gun with 14 amps shooting power, and the staples are just bouncing off. I'm using 1/4" 6mm heavy duty staples.
What has anyone used successfully in getting the new seals on?

After I first posted, I ran across an old thread in the General section. It mentioned doing exactly what you said, using rivets. I picked up some ABS/PVC cement to fill in the spaces inbetween, and she seems to be holding so far.
The outer seals, believe or not, don't need replacing. So that's a good thing.
