Shift Light Wiring?
thanks

As per Hutch's website (see explanation below for why I haven't provided a link ), I tapped into the tach lead (white wire off the C100 connector under the dash) for the tach signal. I then used a ground behind the dash and drew my power off one of the fuses in the fusebox (can't recall which one...).
My home computer is out of action at the moment (it's been a week now... :mad) and that is where I had the bookmark for Hutch's website where he had his shiftlight install on his Grand Sport documented quite well. I cannot seem to find the link on the pc I'm using at the moment... (he posts as ZO6VERT now) Perhaps someone else out there can help with the link?

I think I can do that. Not sure I want to put it in the AC vent, but that lets me know where the wires go.
Exactly what I needed..
I just ordered the Harlan shift light, $50 and it can be set to within 100rpm. The Autometer light with the sending unit, light and pill set was about $170 and could only be set in 200rpm increments.
