Worn Suspension Bushings

Will worn suspension bushings, mainly front sway bar bushings, cause premature tire wear? The outside edge of my front driver side tire is wearing faster than the rest of the tire.

wouldn't think sway bar bushings would cause tire wear. I would look at ball joints and the alignment first.

Check your alignment. Sounds like you may have too much toe in on that side, along with some positive camber.

bad alignment, tie rod may need replacing

Nope, not swaybar related. Think ball joint or tie rods.

Thanks guys. My dad had a new steering rack installed for me while I was in the Persian gulf. I think the guy that did it messed up the alignment job. Thats why I don't let anybody work on it but myself. :cheers:
