Wow, that would be strange. At least you have peace of mind that your combo works as intended! I hope no one gets a smart idea and posts a link to this in OT or C6 Gen.....they wouldn't like it too much

THE 91 HAS AFR HEADS,LONG TUBE HEADDERS,CORSA EXHAUST.THE EXACT CAM AND OTHER INTERNALS ARE A BIT OF A MYSTERY AS I BOUGHT THE CAR AS A TRADE IN ON A NEW GT 500 MUSTANG.IT HAS BEEN TUNED WITH A CUSTOM CHIP AND HAS WELL OVER 400 RWHP.SOMEONE GOT THIS COMBO RIGHT,THE HARDEST THING ABOUT DRIVING THIS CAR IS EASING INTO THE GAS TO KEEP TRACTION.THE TRANSMISSION IS FROM LOU AT MONSTER TRANSMISSIONS AND IS AWESOME WITH A 2800 STALL.I WILL TRY TO GET MY BUDDY TO POST SOME PICS THIS CAR IS AN AWESOME C4 AND I REALLY HATED TO SELL IT ,EVEN MORE REGRET KNOWING THE DEAL I GOT ON THE CAR AND IT BEING A FASTER QUARTER MILER THAN MY C6 OR ZR1

No better way to be beat than by something you built yourself. Still something to be proud of either way.

No how bad were you beat? I've torched a friend's 05 C6 a couple of times but it was close. I'd leap a car length ahead but he'd reel me back in upstairs.

THE C6 JUMPS AND GOES ,VERY EFFICIENT, NO DRAMA,THE 91 SR SPINS THRU THREE SHIFTS THEN COMES ON HARD.IT LOOKED ,NO LIE ,IN MY SIDE MIRROR LIKE IT WAS READY TO LIFT THE FRONT WHEELS.IT WAS THE FIRST NON SPECULATIVE,REAL WORLD PERFORMANCE OF THE 383 ,I WAS VERY IMPRESSED

I've noticed that after my mild mods I can keep up with a C6 off the line... for a short distance

I am the friend who bought the 91 c4. The car is great. If it would hook up before 40 mph it would hard to beat. Don is a true friend because the heads cost what he sold me the car for. I will try to get some pictures very soon. This is the badest ride i have ever been in. Drove a new z06 and i think this c4 will take it!!!!

You need a pair of Nitto 555r's on the back. They handle quite well, last a long time and are sticky on the street. Will be night and day difference with traction over normal street tires.
