What cam for lt1??
I have a 93 c4. Im wondering what type of cam have guys expreienced the most power gains and what cams give the best lope and sound? Ive built custom engines at a speed shop for a living but they were all sbf. From mild to 1600hp gt4788mm dart block motors. I cant seem to get the the sound im looking for out of this car with rear mounted mufflers. Stock short block, ported heads, .302@.600lift are peak flow#s. ported intake, long tubes, spintech mufflers etc... Thanks in advance. oh and a 2800 converter.also what type of long tubes are availible for c4s?

Wow, those are great flow numbers. Who ported the heads? You should look into a custom grind camshaft to go with those heads. I'm running a 224/230 605/622 112 camshaft that works well with my ported heads/stock short block. I'm also running EM long tube headers, believe they are having a GP on this forum.

Theres a place in festus mo. called redline performance that gives flow sheets with the heads price is around 1250. And i have an engine builder that does alot of outlaw and pro stuff that did mine. He charged like 1100. That cam is huge!! Do you have a sound clip???

Sorry no sound clips. The cam is actually pretty mild mannered, I have a really good tune. If you are in Festus Mo, drive up to O'fallon sometime and check it out. I'm also around Fenton quite often.
