[U-Joints]: Tom's Differentials
Ok what are the "bad boy" cold forged u-joints that he sells? His online catalog doesn't specifically say "84-96 Corvette" for any of them. I need the part #s for both halfshaft and driveshaft.

Scorp, I wouldn't waste the money on those U joints. I have run the "Brute Strength" or force can't remember, U joints in every vette I have owned. Never had any problems with them what so ever. They help up well in the 90 with the 383. And I have been know to run it pretty hard:) Never had a problem.

Yup, and I already trashed another one. The outter passenger side one was completely wasted. I think it may of been because of the worn wheel hub. I replaced it when I did the hub.

Scorp, I would give them another shot. I'm no expert but 3 vettes and no problems has to be good for something. :) I know I made them all earn their keep at the strip.

Thats why the U joints are there. To be the weak link in the system. I rather that break than something more costly. Although sometimes the half shaft or drive shaft decides to take another piece with it. :smash:

$$$26.50 and 17.50 is what I paid about 3 months ago. I will be staying with the cold forged units myself. They don't cost that much more.
