Define "Comp Height" ... in relation to the specs of pistons.
The only thing I can come up with is the height of the piston at which it has reached it's maximum compression ... ie the TDC position of the piston. Anyone know?
Comp Height is called Compression Height. The Compression Height of a piston is the distance from the center of the piston pin hole to the deck or top of the piston (excluding dome if any).
OH yes and in general you are looking for "normal" or zero. Less will mean less compression. More can mean a piston hitting the flat porion of the head unless the shop you have taken your block to has checked it thoroughly...
