It's a camaro but the tpi engine and trans are nearly identical to the vette. I find the camaro boards are filled with clueless people. You guys here are much more helpful.
I've never have a problem with it in drive. The car seems to run perfectly. If it's in reverse and you take your foot off the accelerator it often stalls. It doesn't seem to matter if it's warm or cold. It doesn't give me any warning either. Never hesitates, or bucks. Just like someone turned off the key. IAC, injectors, plugs, cap, wires are all fairly new. Anyone have any ideas where to begin looking?
Even thought it behaves well in drive, I'd suspect that maybe the IAC pintel isn't responding properly to ECM command.
What is idle RPM warm in drive?
Sorry for the delay. I've been a bit busy. Today it stalled out in drive.
On the tach I have a line between 500 and 1000 rpm I'm guessing that's 750rpm? In park it is a little above that line (800rpm?) and in gear it's just a little below it (700rpm?).
Last summer the car wouldn't stay idling. I replaced the IAC and all has been well until now.
