Default Throttle body cable too short

Just put on a 52mm and the TB cable is not long enough leading into the ASR...typically it's too long and you're able to adjust it on the TB with an allen wrench. However since it's too short there no slack idle is around 1500. Looked around for a longer aftermarket throttle cable leading into the TB but unable to find something which was designed for the corvette....I mean I am sure I could find some throttle cable somewhere and rig it up but am trying to follow the rules....I even found some Holly instructions about adjusting the ASR with a 1/4 inch wrench while holding it all in place with a 1/8 drill bit(a bit complicated) but ended up bending the drill bit....and the adjustment would have just made the cable shorter.....anyone have an ideas? I even unscrewed the bracket next to the TB and tried pushing it towards the TB while tightening the screws but nothing. Any input?

In a similar situation I removed the bracket & slotted the mount holes. Just takes a couple of minutes with a sharp round file.
