Default Need Help Fast!!!

I usually post all my questions in "the project" but I need some quick help...here is the situation..please help if you can...

1. The bracket for the TV cable that came with my SuperRam is not even close to matching the bolt holes...Therefore I used my old bracket..bolted up fine...here is the next problem.....The freakin TV cable is basically wedged to get it to fit...What am I missing here guys???

I just took the car for a quick spin...with not exhaust, VERY loud but I could not wait...The freakin thing has NO power!!! It has to be that TV cable keeping things from working properly...Its wedged very tight and cannot be adjusted the way you normally would...How did all you other guys set your tv cables up or get that bracket to work with your setups?

Can anyone else think of why this car would react the way it is? In park it sounds unreal, revs very good, and when held at a constant RPM is very steady no breakups or anything....I'm very concerned..PLease help me out if you can...Thanks..

PS: I put some new fluid in the transmission and used dextron III. Is that a NO, NO? It said it was compatible with dextron II. Man this sucks!

I'm freaking sitting here pulling my damn hair out...What would cause the car to shutter real bad in drive and create no power while driving? It has to be that DGing cable...I would like to have ACCEL here by the throat... :mad

It's the cable! Don't drive it or you risk tranny damage  IMHO! Don't want to sound too positive

Cable doesn't just control down shifts, going through the same thing myself right now with my Z 28

You may have to drill a new mounting hole in your linkage and buy a bolt in stud to relocate the cable end and get it to have the right pull and arc

I think I am going to have to do this the the linkage on the Holley 4 barrell I just installed on the Z

Wish I could offer more

:seeya :D

I don't have a superram but I have seen pics that show the cables run over the top of the unit. How did you route yours? Maybe you could drill and tap new holes to mount your bracket at a different angle to free up the bound cable. Just a thought. Good luck.

Thanks guys,
I was just out and got the accell bracket mounted after redrilling holes in it. What a freaking joke! I will NEVER promote another product of theirs. I mean the holes were not even close to lining up...I mean about 1-1.5" off! I am an engineer and that is just plain rediculous..I would be enbarressed to even say I worked for them. I finally got the cables were there was no bind, but had to force the other two that come over the top of the plenum into position. It should work though. Now I just have to figure out were the setting needs to be. I remember before with the stock setup..I messed with it and the way they recommend you set it, the car ran like crap. I just kept playing with it and finally it really cranked. I can't keep driving the car through the neighborhood, it WAY too loud! I will see if a shop can make me an exhaust this weekend. Then I can play a bit more, and not be so obvious. I would like to read a good article on what that TV cable controls. I know it is a pressure relief of some sort, but man it can make your car run way off target. Thanks for the advise and prompt responses! It will now let me sleep tonight! Thanks.
Jesse

To answer the one question about how I routed it, two cables, you are correct, run over the top. The TV cable however runs just as your does, under the plenum...here is a pic of my setup...
