My slightly modified 1987 L-98 convertible just started a little stumble/surging/miss at very light load part throttle cruising. BUT It starts instantly. has great power, will rev to limit, but the stumble is irritating, and it also runs/idles rich sometimes. The tailpipes are really black and my gas mileage has gone down too.
I have attempted to locate vacuum leaks and have replaced a few hoses; and I removed the throttle body and cleaned it and the IAC with almost no improvement.
There are no check engine codes on the info panel, but I now suspect that the bulb is out.
Mods include: AIR Elimination kit with all air pump parts and plumbing removed. EGR vaccum plugged and switch disconnected and EGR header tube plugged, Chambered true dual exhaust free flow system,
