Drove the 91 yesterday cold weather started fine ran fine.. Went to take it out today warm relativily nice day for NE in the 50'5 No start dead battery voltmeter says .94 volts at the battery terminals.. Obvious source of drain?? It has been fine for months as since I bought it used was going to change the battery anyway as it is old..
Question # 2 where are the bump stops for the front suspension I can not see them anywhere..
Dave
You can get the battery tested for free at any Advance Auto / AutoZone to see if it is bad or not. Mine would sporadically die completely (not even try to turn over), and after replacing the battery all is good.
As for #2, now that I think about it, I've never seen them either. Perhaps it's just built in to the spring geometry or something like that.
some times we leave the door open a crack or leave interior lights on, things like that, it happened ot me last summer. I don't think it could be anything serios if you did nothing, but drive it, return home and park it.
Easiest way to change the battery.. Yes a simple question.. decided tojust get a new one as the old one while not original is quite 'vintage' looking... There is no jacking so this will be on the ground with cardboard if lucky and yes it is both cold and wet in connecticut today though warmer than usual... Found the bolts on top and in the wheelhouse and see the other end of a lower.. does the rocker panel need to come off to get to that one???
