Default high speed acceleration problems

I have a 91 vette that has developed an high speed acceleration problem. It accelerates normally until 2000-2500 rpm then it dogs down and wont accel any more unless i back off then it surges slightly. I dont drive it that often so I thought it may be the fuel or the injectors but i put in new fuel and injector cleaner 44k with no improvement. I had a alternator pulley break recently and the car went dead. I couldnt find a new pulley so I got a used altenator that had a good pulley. The car also leaks out coolant after driven and put away for a while. Please help

It maybe your fuel pump. There is a small rubber blader that can go bad and cause this kind of problem. You may also want to check the oms on the injectors that maybe another thing that could cause your engine to starve for fuel. I think there are stickys posted there that talk about the fuel pump blader. Hope this helps it does sound like a fuel delivery problem.

If you haven't changed the fuel filter for awhile you may want to, then check your fuel pressure and make sure its were its suppose to be.If its not to spec check fuel delivery , regulator, pump, then check injectors,I believe the 91 had the same Multec injectors my 89 had,you need to check the resistance on them because they are known for having problems...WW

Sounds like a fuel problem to me. Ohm the injectors like WW7 said and get a fuel pressure guage to see exactly what's going on when the car sputters. When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? They are cheap and easy to replace.

A bad cat would cause the car to bog at about that rpm. I'd look into that if your fuel system checks out.
