Default 93 heater core replacement

Have done some research and trying to do the "fastguy" method of heater core replacement on a 93 LT1 coupe.

Looks like the "fastguy" method (pull the passenger seat/remove core from bottom w/o removing the dash) is for 86 or so models with the breadbox, maybe??? Some parts of this method I am having trouble relating to the 93.

I was hoping to not remove the dash, but I can not figure out how to get the interferring ductwork out of the way. Pulling out the glove box helps a lot. I have a 93 FSM and it says to pull the dash and a lot more!

Any instructions, thoughts or advice???

Much thanks.

Howdy!
I think removing the seat does apply to the 'fast guy' method. I tried that on my '93, and when I realized I couldn't get to the core without removing the dash, I put the seat back in for comforts sake!
Nice Vette you have there!

So 93, I am looking at pulling the dash, that isn't to bad I don't think, I got bigger fish to fry first though, heat don't make you go any faster, but a defroster is nice!

Much thanks for the advice and help! I was hoping to avoid removing the dash, but at this point, why not, as it appears that the first thing on the Bowling Green assembly line in 93 was the heater core!!!

Thanks for the compliment on the Ruby Red! Your white 93 is looking great too! C4's are super, eh!
