Default Fan temp settings for late model C4?

Anyone know what the settins are for the electric radiator fans on a 96? My wife's first fan is coming on at about 220 deg F. Turn on the A/C and the fans come on as expected. This seems high to me. I replaced both primary and secondary fan relays and they still come on this high....

Thats close, and yup I think it is too hot also. You can have the fan on and off temps changed by reprogramming the
chip, also change the thermostat to a 160 or 180 and that should help.

I have an 84 and that is about right. I thought mine was a bit high as well so I changed the fan switch to a 95c degree unit. Now the fan will comes on about 208 and runs much cooler. The optimal temp. for a small block is around 200 degrees.

220 is the right temperature. Now I am sure we can start a debate that has been had here many times whether this is too high or not.

There is merit to both sides, I'll stick with what the factory did.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll leave as is. I am used to running my 82 at 180.
