What to do with smog pump
what have you guys done with the smog pump after installing headers with no air tube attachments on a 96 (or other years with the electric pump). Does it serve a perpose anymore? should I just leave it in the and run a line to the back of the intake? I dont want to have any engine codes.

I pulled my air and EGR all the way out of the car and blocked off the two ports in the back and pluged the one vacume line. It really cleaned up the engine compartment. I haven't put the headers on yet to see how it runs, but I'm sure it'll throw a code.
